My story

Three decades of building, backing and leading.

I've spent more than thirty years building, scaling and improving organisations — across technology, digital media, software, e-commerce and advisory services, including senior commercial roles across EMEA and Oceania. I've launched new markets, built partnerships, led growth strategies, restructured businesses and worked with major brands and retailers.

Alongside my business career, I served as Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner for Northamptonshire — responsible for police and fire governance, significant public budgets, complex stakeholder environments and major transformation programmes. That mix of commercial experience, public accountability and board-level governance shapes how I think about growth, risk, leadership and value.

Today I focus on building, acquiring and supporting owner-led businesses through a connected portfolio of ventures — including Built by Owners, Euro Securitas, M2 Innovation and Earthlets. Built by Owners is where I bring that experience together for owners like you: practical, honest and grounded in having actually done it.
